DATA PROTECTION

Protecting your data is our concern
We are delighted at the interest that you have shown in LEONHARD BREITENBACH GMBH and want you to feel safe and secure about your personal data when visiting our website. This is because we take protection of your personal data very seriously. We comply with the provisions of the German Data Protection Act as a matter of course.
We want you to know when we collect data, what data we collect and how we use this. We have implemented technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed both by us as well as by external service providers commissioned by us.

Personal data
Personal data is information on your identity. This includes e.g. information such as your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You do not need to disclose any personal data in order to use our website. However, in certain cases we require your name and address along with further information so that we are able to provide the desired service free of charge.
The same applies e.g. to the sending of informational material or to answering individual questions. We advise you accordingly if this is required. Furthermore we only save and process data which you provide to us voluntarily, along with data which we collect automatically during visits to our website as applicable (e.g. your IP address and the names of the pages accessed by you, the browser used by you and your operating system, date and time of the access, search engines used and names of files downloaded).
If you do make use of free services then the data that we require in order to provide the services is the only data that is generally collected. If we do ask you for more detailed information then this is voluntary information. Personal data is only processed for the purposes of fulfilling the service requested and of safeguarding our own justified business interests.

Purpose of the personal data
We generally use the personal data supplied by you in order to answer your queries or to provide you with access to certain information or offers. It may also be necessary for us or for a service provider commissioned by us to use this personal data in order to inform you of news or carry out online surveys in order for us to fulfil the tasks and requirements of our users more effectively.
Should you not wish to transmit any personal data to us then we will naturally respect this. We will neither sell nor otherwise market your personal data to third parties.

Usage for a specific purpose
We will only collect, process and use the data provided by you online for the purposes communicated to you. Your personal data is not forwarded to third parties without your express consent.
Personal data is only collected and transmitted to government institutions and authorities that are entitled to the information within the framework of the applicable laws or provided that we are under an obligation to do this following a court decision. We and the service providers commissioned by us are under an obligation of confidentiality imposed by us and an obligation to comply with the regulations in the German Data Protection Act.
