Contract Milling – CNC Milling
at hhpm by Breitenbach

What is behind CNC milling in contract manufacturing?

Milling is part of our machining portfolio. Our particular strength lies in the precision machining of rotationally symmetrical components. Our manufacturing processes are designed to master complex challenges.

Contract Milling – what we offer:

  • Milling of tear-shaped geometries into roller surfaces
  • Creation of 3D surfaces on cylindrical surfaces
  • Machining of hard materials into desired shapes

The use of state-of-the-art CNC technology and our extensive expertise allows us to meet these special requirements with the highest accuracy and efficiency.

Our ability to mill demanding geometries and complex contours using CNC technology is one of our key strengths. By applying specialized tools and techniques, we can achieve not only precise geometries but also successfully tackle the specific challenges of milling hard materials.

Our focus is on machining rotationally symmetrical components. Thanks to our modern CNC technology and expertise in CNC machining, we are also capable of handling a wide range of milling tasks. This makes us a versatile partner in contract milling, able to meet a broad spectrum of customer requirements.

FAQ

What is contract milling?

Contract milling refers to the process in which a company or individual performs milling work as a service for third parties. This service is often used to manage production peaks or to carry out specialized milling tasks for which resources are not available in-house.

What is done in milling?

In milling, material is selectively removed from a workpiece to create a desired shape or surface. This is achieved using rotating cutting tools that remove material along controlled paths.
