hhpm – Heavy High Precision Machining. As a brand of Leonhard Breitenbach GmbH, hhpm stands for contract machining of large, cylindrical components. Breitenbach has been established in the market as a roller processor since 1866. Unlike other roller manufacturers, we started purely as a processor of rollers from surrounding manufacturers. It was only around 40 years after our founding that we began producing our own cast rollers. Even today, as a service provider in machining, we place great emphasis on roller service and the processing of large, cylindrical components. With hhpm, we are establishing an additional segment within our portfolio. hhpm covers the machining of round components that are not rollers.
Rough Turning
Large, cylindrical components such as shafts, axles, and rollers are shaped with great heat and force—through forging and casting. This process leaves its marks, especially on the surface. To achieve precise contours, we machine the parts on our rough-turning machines—a demanding task that we have mastered perfectly.
Grinding
In the grinding process, we achieve the highest geometric accuracy and ensure precise roundness in the micrometer range. By using state-of-the-art CNC grinding machines, we precisely meet the geometric specifications and roundness requirements demanded by our customers. These can also include complex geometries, such as tapers, sine curves, and more.
