Precise components must be manufactured with the highest accuracy to perform their intended function without limitations.
hhpm by Breitenbach offers you:
- Expertise
- Experience
- Modern CNC turning machines
- High quality
All of this enables CNC turning of your components with micrometer-level precision.
The high-precision machining of these components is far more than simple contract turning. It requires extensive experience in all manufacturing steps and a machine park specifically designed for these purposes. This allows our skilled personnel to achieve the precision that conventional CNC turning machines cannot reach.
hhpm by Breitenbach is a machining specialist with exceptional accuracy. We focus on the precise processing of large, rotationally symmetrical components. Even today, you will find numerous products worldwide, such as turned parts, that were once finished in our facilities.
Our Services:
Rough and Finish Turning
Rough and Finish Turning
Machining large, rotationally symmetrical components presents different challenges depending on the material. hhpm by Breitenbach draws on over 150 years of experience and provides solutions for turning every type of material. Thanks to our expertise, machining difficult-to-cut materials is easily achievable. Surface roughness, roundness accuracy, and cylindrical shapes can be realized with micrometer-level precision using our specialized knowledge.
Precision Starts with Rough Turning
Rough turning is the first machining process in shaping a rotationally symmetrical workpiece. It allows even hard forged or cast surfaces to be removed. With high material removal rates, our CNC machines can shape large, cylindrical components into complex forms in a short time. These include shafts, axles, and rollers. hhpm by Breitenbach meets the highest standards in bringing the workpiece to an exact form—going beyond the requirements of standard contract turning.
Precise Surface Machining with Finish Turning
In finish turning, complex contours can be machined into the workpiece to meet your individual requirements. Custom shapes can be precisely incorporated into the workpiece surface using our specialized tools. These include grooves, chamfers, recesses, shoulders, and all types of threads. Dimensions and surface quality are strictly maintained through the use of modern CNC turning machines and subsequent expert inspection.
Depending on your needs, we can handle the complete manufacturing of a workpiece for you. Of course, we also offer partial production if required—completely tailored to your individual specifications. Provide us with your blank, and we will precisely finish your component. Turning and other machining steps are carried out on our 35 specialized turning machines. To ensure precise production during turning, we work closely with our customers and suppliers.
In close collaboration with our experts, the blank can be produced and delivered by other companies. It is then finished into a complete component in our facility. With our expertise, many years of experience, and a modern machine park equipped with CNC technology, we are able to deliver the highest quality—achieving results that conventional turning in a standard workshop cannot match.
Material wear is unfortunately unavoidable. However, rollers, large shafts, or turbine rotors do not necessarily need to be replaced with new components.
hhpm by Breitenbach specializes in the repair of such complex workpieces. We can restore your product to the condition it was in on the day it was commissioned.
Precision Gives Us Safety
Using imprecisely manufactured mass-produced parts always carries the risk that something may not function correctly—or that the final product may have reduced quality. Especially in cases where the failure of a component could endanger people, precision is essential. For example, in a drive shaft for amusement rides or carousels. hhpm by Breitenbach therefore places great emphasis on a high level of precision in turning and other machining processes. This goes far beyond the typical requirements of standard inspections!
As a roller manufacturer, we have many years of experience in machining large, rotationally symmetrical components from a wide range of materials, such as cast iron, hardened cast, forged steel, and high-chrome steel. Requirements include, for example, surface roughness, roundness accuracy, and cylindricity.
